Choir Teacher
I graduated from Stringtown High School in 1988, and from Southeastern Oklahoma State University in 1991.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a K-8 Music Endorsment.
I began teaching at Atoka Public Schools in August of 2012 as a first grade teacher, then fourth grade reading, and am currently teaching elementary vocal music.
My teaching career began at Farris Public School in 1992 where I was employed as a teacher assistant for one year and then I was hired as computer/music teacher for the next 5 years. I was blessed to be able to stay home with my daughters from 1998 through 2004. I was employed by Pittsburg Public School in August 2004, where I spent 8 years teaching 4th grade.
I have been married to my husband Michael for 29 years. We have 3 children, 2 son-in-loves and 3 grandsons.❤️
I love to play piano and enjoy time with my family.
