Atoka Public Schools (APS) announces its intent to apply for the Nita M. Lowey 21st Century Community Learning Centers (21st CCLC) grant, a federally funded initiative designed to support high-quality after-school and out-of-school-time programs that promote academic achievement and whole-child development.
APS has successfully implemented the 21st CCLC program during a previous 5-year grant cycle and plans to apply again to continue and expand services for Pre-K through 5th-grade students at Atoka Elementary School. The AES 21st CCLC program is FREE for all participating students and provides a safe, supportive learning environment through before-school, after-school, and summer programming.
