Parents and Guardians:
Beginning in November, students at McCall Middle will be part of the Choctaw SMART Program
evidence-based educational curriculum, Positive Potential. The lessons emphasize choosing not to have sex is the safest choice and the lessons do not directly talk about sexual behavior but focus on peer pressure and how to react. The Positive Potential program includes several homework activities to help parents and children talk about personal limits. You are welcome to preview the Positive Potential materials. Please contact Christ Hammons, SMART/TTP Program Manager, at 580-326-8304 with any questions. Forms were passed out on Monday, October 7, 2024. Please return by Friday, 10/10/24 if you wish your student to opt out.

The last two weeks McCall Middle School students have had the opportunity to engage in the campaign and election process. Students ran for various positions within the student council. The students running for President had to give a speech to the entire student body before voting happened. We are very proud of them all!

Atoka Public Schools sent home an Impact Aid Survey form for parents & guardians to complete. Impact Aid is a required Federal education program that provides funding for public school districts. Please return these forms on or before September 24th, 2024. For assistance in obtaining this form, please contact APS.
