Atoka Public School students enjoyed delicious grilled cheeseburgers featuring Choctaw Beef from Coats Family Farms, locally processed by H & L Custom Processing in Coalgate, Oklahoma!
A huge THANK YOU to Gary Hensley and his crew for firing up the grills and serving up a fantastic meal for our students! We also appreciate Mel Barton and our Child Nutrition team for arranging this special meal and making sure everything was prepared and served to our students.

The Atoka FCCLA Chapter Officers attended The Lead Conference in McAlester last Thursday. During the conference, our officers developed valuable leadership skills, learned how to effectively lead and conduct meetings, and gained new ideas for promoting leadership within our chapter. We are excited to see them bring these skills back to Atoka and use them to help our FCCLA chapter grow and succeed!

Thanks to a grant from PSO, Mrs. Miller’s STEM class will be one to one with starter Drones. The students are all very excited to learn how to use these drones, and they all want to thank PSO and American Electric Power Company for the $500.00 classroom grant that allowed us to order these drones! Great things are coming to McCall Middle School STEM. #themiddlematters #PSO #AEP
McCall Middle School STEM students were challenged to make a chair. They could only use paper and tape, and the chair had to hold up at least one of our feeling stuffies! They rose to the challenge and had fun competing with each other.

Atoka High School seniors gathered at Wampus Cat Stadium on September 2 for a special Senior Sunrise! Students and staff enjoyed a home-cooked breakfast, spent time socializing, and took a moment to reflect on the beginning of their senior year.

AHS Senior Capstone students were challenged to complete a puzzle—but there was one catch: no box or picture to guide them!
Students had to communicate, manage their time, problem-solve, and work together to complete the task. More importantly, they learned the value of seeing the big picture when faced with challenges and unfamiliar situations.

McCall Middle School students had the opportunity to experience democracy in action as they participated in the selection of our new Student Council members! Candidates shared their ideas and delivered speeches to their fellow students, then the student body made their voices heard by casting their votes.
